Brooke ~ 9 Months Old

At 9 months old Brooke weighs 23.4 lbs which is in the 97% percentile and is 27 1/4 long which is in the 37% percentile. She had her third ear infection in her right ear this past month! Brooke has started to learn to wave hello or bye. Mostly its just her arm waving in the air but she does it all the time. Brooke defiantly knows her name when you talk to her and she also knows what "kitty" is. If you say kitty, she is instantly looking for Nala. Lastly, Brooke started to clap her hands, its pretty cute.

New Food: apricots, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Ham, Watermelon, cauliflower, Chicken, Beef, Kiwi, Asparagus, Pumpkin, Blackberries, DQ Ice Cream and cereal bars (oh - and a little brownie). Brooke still dislikes veggies, however she will on occasion eat pumpkin, sweet potato and carrots! Also, she is eating chucks of fruit which she loves to try and pick up. She is getting better but they just slip out of her fingers so easy.

So those teeth that we "thought" she was getting are still not here!! Those bumps went back down and they just now starting to show up again. I was looking at my baby book and Toms, I had teeth at 13 months and Tom had teethat 6 1/2 months. So with that said, not sure when those little guys will show up.

Lovin' those cheeks! On the moving front Brooke is getting better at turning circles and pushing herself backwards. She is doing better at getting on her hands and knees. Plus she has been able to pull herself up in the laundry basket and on one toy.
