Brooke - 10 Months Old

Brooke has had a very busy month and is on the move. She is pulling herself up on everything and is also walking around objects. She loves to walk herself down the couch or to push her car across the room. She hasn't mastered crawling yet but she can get a couple of feet and falls to her belly. When standing at her toys or the couch she likes to pick up toys off the floor. Lastly, she loves holding onto your hands so that she can walk across the room. At 10 Months Brooke is weighing 23 lbs 14 oz.

Brooke's eating is getting better but she is still struggling with her veggies. I am feeling her veggies mixed with yogart or mashed banana's. She truely loves to feel herself more then she likes baby food. I try and give her food in little chunks and she loves to feed herself. Her favorite food is Mac/Cheese, she absoulty loves it.

Brooke is getting more and more vocal these days! We are pretty sure she says "hi", "Ma-Ma" and of course "dada". She is riding in her big girl carseat and just chats away while looking out the window. Lastly, when you sing "if your happy and you know it clap your hands" she will start to clap her hands and bounce up and down. She is getting very good and learning her songs and it comes from storytime at the library.

Also, during this past month Brooke and I joined the mommy/baby water class at Community Medical Center. Its one day a week for a hour and there are 8 babies under 12 months. Its a great opportunity for her to get used to the water and I get some exercise. She has also floated in a life jacket so hopefully she'll love the lake this summer.

We have finally found our tummy! During the past two weeks Brooke has started to sleep on her belly. It started during some naps and now she is sleeping on her tummy at night too.
