Brooke - 1 Year Old

We can hardly believe our little girl his turning ONE TODAY!! During this past month she has changed so much. Brooke is taking steps and is learning how to walk. She will walk between Tom and I and also between objects. She is crawling still but prefers to stand up and move on her feet. Brooke is starting to talk more and more these days. Her words consist of Daddy, Momma, NO, up, more, hi and bye. Come late afternoon she will start asking for Daddy. We will normally then have to call him to say hi. Also, ask Brooke for a kiss and you'll get one - but that is a wide open mouth kiss!!

Brooke loves her baby dolls! Tom and I got her an american bitty baby for her birthday and she loves her. I have my old doll crib out and Brooke puts the baby in and out. She also loves to hug her babies, give them kisses and share her paci with them.

Brooke now has two front teeth. They are still moving up but you can see them sometimes when she smiles or when she is chewing on toys. Brooke is eating what we eat on a daily basis and its great! She doesn't do much baby food at all anymore unless we are out and about. Brooke is also starting to "try" to use a fork and spoon. Lastly she loves ham.
