Avery is now 6 months old and weighs 17 lbs 11 oz in the 81st percentile and is 25.5 inches long in the 41st percentile. On May 22 Avery rolled from her back to her tummy. Now she can roll from her back to her tummy and her tummy to her back. On June 3rd she tried rice cereal for the first time and did pretty good. Then on June 12th we tried sweet potatoes and she did great! She has been eating about 3-4 ounces of food at time. On June 17th we tried peas and she didn't like them very much but at least ate a couple of bites. However, she is now doing better with them and likes them mixed with sweet potatoes.
During this month she has been able to sit by herself and she doesn't like to be on her back very much anymore. She loves sitting at her toys and watching Brooke run around. Avery is taking a 45 minute nap in the morning and a 1.5-2.5 hour nap in the afternoon. During the night she gets up 1-2 times to eat. Lastly, Avery had croup the end of May and she has had a constant cough at night but its getting better.Avery and Sydney.
