Avery ~ 18 Months Old

Its hard to believe that Avery is already 18 months old!  We celebrated her 1 1/2 birthday and she loved blowing out the candles and actually even ate the cake too...

Avery weighs 24 lbs 14 oz and is in the 58%  percentile and is 31.5 inches long and is in the 43% percentile.  We only have 6 teeth but more are on their way!

Avery is such a fun, silly and happy little girl.  Avery loves to play with her big sister and tries to do big girl things!  Such as drinking out of regular cups, riding bikes, running, climbing at the park etc.  She just tries to keep up with Brooke the best she can!  She attemps to jump and can't get her feet off the ground but she sure tries...  She loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone when we leave and loves to wave at people out the window when they leave our home.

Avery can point to objects in books and say what they are.  She loves to read the books with animals and will actually say what the animals says.  She also will go through books and point to different things and say what each one is. 

Avery will ask when she wants a snack, drink and actually tell you Thank you! She is talking more and more and can repeat most of the works you ask her to say.  Here are some more words she does say on a regular basis: Dora, Boots, Elmo, Julie, Sydney, Hailey, All-gone, Thank you, aw-choo, bye-bye, Brooke, Hailey, Sydney,and I did it!

She also had her 4th ear infection this last month in her right ear.  She is also still taking two naps a day still.  The am nap only lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes.  The afternoon nap is anywhere from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours long
