Avery ~ 20 Months

Avery is 20th months old and is a happy little munchkin!  She is growing up too fast and loves doing whatever her big sister likes to do.  Avery is starting to finally get more and more teeth.  This past month her four molars have started to break through and so has her left lateral incisor tooth.  Right now she has 6 teeth that are fully in.

Avery is learning more shapes and can actually point to them in books.  She also knows what the moon is and can show us in the sky. She is getting pretty good at singing the alphabet but definitely still misses some letters! Also, while driving in the car she is very familiar with mommy's songs, kids songs and can actually sing a few.

Big changes are happening in Avery's room too!  She is transitioning to a big girl bed at night.  For naps we are still in a pack n play but she is sleeping great at night her big bed.  She is going to bed around 8:00 and will actually wake up around 6 for a drink and then go back to bed.  She is still taking 2 naps per day.

Avery is horrible to grocery shop with.  She doesn't like to sit in the cart or be buckled in!  She must walk like Brooke or I just can't take her. Also, she doesn't like to sit at the dinner table either.  Its a fight to try and get her to sit still for dinner.  Sometimes we just have to feed her on the run.

We love that Avery is talking more and more and actually putting 2-3 works together at a time. We defiantely know when she wants something or when she wants to do it herself.  Here are somethings that she says on a regular basis.

Avery has started to poop on the potty!  We aren't potty training yet but sometimes we are able to get her on the potty and she loves flushing the toilet and saying bye bye poop...

Avery loves to play with Brooke whenever she can!  She loves to play with her babies and play doctor with them or Brooke.  She also loves to draw with sidewalk chalk but sometimes still eats it and same goes with the crayons!We are trying to teach Avery how to share but she isn't quite getting that yet and Brooke struggles with Avery taking her toys. However they do love each other!
