Avery ~ 2 Years Old

Avery is 2 years old...   Avery is 26 lbs 13 oz in the 53% percentile and is 33 1/2 inches tall in the 42% percentile.  At this Age if you compare the two girls Brooke was 5 LBS heavier but they are the SAME height wise..

Here are some phrases that she has been saying:
* I love these cherrios
* I fall down I ok
* Ya see that mom
* Thank you mom thank you
* Brooke pushed me or Brooke hit me
* Oh no no no I do it please
* Where are we going

Avery is learning so much and talking more and more!  She can sign the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle and she is trying very hard to learn Jingle Bells.  If you try and sing with her she says Oh no no no, I do it please.  She is very independent on a lot of things but still does ask for help.

Avery can open all the doors, grab things off the counter and now crawl out of her pack n play.  Avery is still sleeping in her big girl bed at night and during naps we have her in the pack n play because she likes to wake up Brooke.  Avery is taking 1-2 naps per day and the morning nap is slowing going away but some days it is still needed.  She is going to bed around 8:30 pm and comes into our room around 6:30 am

Avery is horrible with any marker or crayon! She will either try and eat them or color all over herself.  Luckily we have washable and it comes out quickly.  Avery enjoys playing baby, dress-up, making food in the kitchen, and playing with her big Sister. Once we get into the car Avery always asks "where we going mom".  She has to know where we are going and now why.  Plus she is pointing out places while we drive by them.

Few of Averys favorite things:
Books - Brown Bear Brown Bear
Food - Carrots and Mac & Cheese
Snack - Yogurt
Fruit - Banana or Blueberries
Toy - Kitchen or Dolls

Avery has all her teeth but 5 that need to come in.  She is missing her top left incisor and all four two year old molars.We are getting better at brushing her teeth but she mostly likes to suck on the tooth brush.  She always visited the dentist last month and had no sugar bugs.  However, she didn't sit very still for the dentist.
