The Fink Family: Avery 2.3 years

Avery is growing up too fast is 28 lbs. She is such a sweet little girl, full of personality and also has a silly side as well. She loves counting to 10, singing her ABC's, and following her sister around. Avery also loves coloring, playing dress up, pretending to be a puppy, playing with play dough, and coloring however we still tend to put markers in our mouth or draw all over our arms.

Avery had a big month in January as she was completely moved to a big girl bed and her paci was taken away at 25 months old.. Yes the paci fairy visited and left her three special gifts and took a paci each night. For about 2-3 weeks she asked for it about once a day but was still sleeping great for naps and at night time. The best thing about taking the paci away was now she doesn't even want her baby during the day. Avery just sleeps with her baby in the bed! Phew this was an easier transition then I expected.

Avery is a pretty good eater and will eat almost anything but FISH! Her favorite food would probably would be meatloaf, mac n cheese and yogurt. She does like all fruit and will only eat carrots and beans for a vegetable.

Avery finally got another tooth at 25 months old and it was her top left cuspid! Now we just need her two year old molars to pop in and we are done teething. However, we have had no problems with any of her teeth that have come through. But on a side note, she still HATES to brush her teeth.

Avery is talking a lot more these days and she is getting easier for me to understand. Some people still don't quite understand some of her works but she and Brooke have full conversations. Plus Avery is very polite and always says thank you, your welcome and please... Here are some things that she has been saying:

Avery is very much into putting her own jacket and shoes on by herself. Most her shoes she can get on right away and sometimes they are backwards but it works. Something funny about this girl is that she like to look for "toe fuzz" in her toes and everyone Else's toes.

Avery went skiing several times this winter and loved it!!

Avery started school in January and loves it! She really enjoys going with Brooke and doing the crafts, bible camp and playing outside with her new friends.
