Brooke has known how to spell her name but now she also can write it. She is talking so much better and can verbalize well with long sentences or questions. She still has issues with wearing buttons, contiguously wearing her feet pj's and will only wear dresses! PLUS she has also been potty trained with NO accidents during the day or night since January 2012!! Yippee. Brooke always has to tell Avery quote "Avery I poop or pee when my body tells me". And Brooke also has mastered swinging on the swings and learning how to pump her legs to keep moving. Riding her big girl bike!!
Brooke has had a busy summer with swim lessons, school, play dates, park visits and numerous birthday parties. We are always on the go and she continues to ask each day what the schedule will be like tomorrow.
Brooke is going to bed right now around 9:00 and waking each morning at 7:00. She is still taking occasional naps about every other day. Brooke typically wants to get dressed right after breakfast and its always a dress! Its a struggle to get her to wear shorts and a t-shirt. If I ask her to wear something else she will say "Mom wait, I got to tell ya something". This is how she prolongs getting dressed in something else. And she will repeat it over and over!
Brooke loves to color and is getting good at drawing houses, people and rainbows! She is constainely telling Avery how to color in the lines.
