Brooke's - Star Student Week at School

At the Good Shepherd each week they select a Student to be the "Star Student".  This student has the opportunity to bring a special guest to class, bring a special snack, and also bring things from home that interest them like toys, books etc.

The week of Halloween Brooke was chosen as the Star Student and she was super excited.  For a guest we were lucky that Nana Sue was in town.  Nana Sue came in and spoke to the kids about living on a farm and driving the combine.  She showed the students photos of harvest and she also brought a bag of wheat for the kids to play with.  The kids even tried the wheat but they all spit it out!!!  Plus she read them a book called "Corey the Combine".  They kids loved seeing the photos of the combine but they didn't particularly love the taste of the wheat.

 Lastly Mommy mad a special treat for school that day and the kids thought it was pretty cool!!
