Brooke 4 1/2 year update

Brooke is 4 1/2 years old and is such a fun girl with loads of personality and silliness.  She is doing well is school and is still going three mornings a week.  She has also been active in Soccer and Gymnastics!  Plus she enjoying play dates with friends. Lastly Brooke is really enjoying board games and we play several games every night.  Plus she plays perfection and can win by placing all the shapes in the correct position within 60 seconds! 

We recently went to a early childhood screening at her soon to be "kindergarten".  She was able to see where she will be going to school, plus she was able to see the buses, lunchroom and classrooms.  During the screening they tested 5 areas such as hearing, vision, creative thinking, math, and speech.  She passed with flying colors.  

Brooke is doing very well at school she can count to 30, count backwards from 10 and knows all her letters and sounds.   We are starting to read the BOB books and she is getting a good start on a couple of the books.  She is still spelling her first and last name well and can write out the entire alphabet. She loves to do her homework from school and we are always doing crafts at home.  Lastly she will say mom if you take that away it will be cancelled and gone.

Brooke has been a great helper with Avery and is trying to help her with the potty!  Plus, she tries to show her letters and numbers.  She is a great big sister and such a helper to me as she has been getting older.

Brooke also had her first sleep over at a friends house! Her best friend is Rory and the girls have been asking to get together for a long time.  So Rory's mommy and I set a date and Brooke went for lunch through the next morning.  The girls went to the pool, dinner and rented a girls movie! They had a fun time.
