Brooke ~ 20 Months

Wow, Brooke is already 20 months old and is growing into such a fun little girl. She is talking up a storm these days and can really say just about anything. She is also putting more and more words together each day and has an opinion about everything. She likes to name things such as: Mommy's chair, Avery's paci, Daddy's truck etc. Also when we get ready to eat she will look at me and say "Mommy eat too". A couple more things she says a lot are "wiggle wiggle wiggle" as she tries to tickle everything. Plus she is big into saying "Oh No - Mommy Fix it" and when she wants to do something its "Do It".

Brooke only has six teeth however we are getting our molars in. She currently has two molars that have broke through on the top and the bottom two will be coming through anytime.


On March 12th Julie took Brooke to the potty at the Marriott and she pottied and pooped. Kinda a nice surprise as we haven't even attempted to potty train yet. Maybe Julie should take Brooke to the potty more often.

Brooke is also getting around quickly these days and likes to run around everywhere. She is big into playing hide and seek. She also can put her jacket on by herself and she thinks its pretty cool.

Brooke is doing great with Avery and loves to keep her involved. First thing in the morning Brooke will ask where Avery is and want to go get her. Its defiantly getting easier on Brooke having Avery around and I think its only going to get easier as Avery gets bigger.

Brooke's favorite song is the "Hot Dog dance" from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She asks to listen to it throughout the day and she loves when Daddy dances along with her.
