Avery ~ 13 Months

Avery is 13 months old and weighs around 23 lbs. During this past month we have been working on walking but Avery would rather crawl. She has managed to walk only about 2-3 feet
and then she falls to her knees and takes off crawling. Plus this month Avery figured out how to go under the baby gate! Not good....

Avery is a great sleeper and is getting better at her naps. Avery will go down right around 7:30 pm and wake up around 7:30 am. Her napping schedule is improving and she is taking a 1 hour nap in the mornings and up to a two hour nap in the afternoons.

Avery loves to waive bye and hi when she sees people that she knows. Also this month we have been working on our animal sounds and she can roar like a lion, whoo-whoo like an owl, and she sometimes can get a moo out for a cow. Plus she is starting to understand how to say yes by nodding her head up and down. If you ask her a question she will nod her head up and down especially for a snack.

Avery loves putting things around her neck or putting objects in containers like bags or boxes. She tries to put her bibs on, necklaces on and Brookes whistle over her head and around her neck. Avery loves to dog pile anyone while they are lying on the floor - even the cat! She just loves Nala...

Avery is a pretty good eater and loves avocadoes, bananas and strawberries. She is getting much much better with her fork and has to use it while in her high chair. Also, we took the bottle away right after her Birthday and we use sippy cups for all her drinks.

At gymnastics...
